Clinical Research Coordinator Services
CRS maintains a team of research coordinators who provide a full menu of services, including regulatory documentation and study start-up, participant recruitment, data collection, case report form creation, and monitoring of visits through study close out. Our coordinators tailor services depending on the needs of the study.
CRS is committed to supporting translational workforce development at VCU, with a specific concentration on training required for efficient, safe, and high quality clinical trial execution. Our Coordinator Team leads a range of efforts at VCU, including:
- Promotion of Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) certification, including study groups and a one-day boot camp to support the annual exam.
- Monthly educational activities through VCU’s Clinical Research Coordinator Council, which standardizes expectations of practice through communication, education, training, and use of good clinical practice.
- Annual Clinical Research Coordinator Day, promoting education, career development, and compliance.
- Partnerships with key stakeholders across VCU and VCU Health to improve quality and efficiency for clinical research professionals.
