Building capacity

The following are building capacities for community-engaged research at VCU.

Community-Engaged Research Interest Group

The Community-Engaged Research Interest Group (CEnR) is open to all VCU faculty and staff members and doctoral students who are active community-engaged researchers or who would like to learn more about CEnR. The goals of the group are to:

  • Build awareness of the range of interests and research in this area
  • Help facilitate potential collaborations among researchers for future projects
  • Provide information on the efforts to support and encourage CEnR
  • Elicit suggestions to further develop high-quality CEnR
